If you need motivation, direction or simply some detailed guidance on your training and lifestyle habits, why not try a personal trainer?

This one-to-one session with your own dedicated personal trainer will help to guide and motivate you through a fun, varied and effective workout.

Whether you want one or several sessions to get you back into the swing of an exercise routine or simply want the occasional consultation to discuss your training or lifestyle issues, there is an instructor suited to your needs.

Cancellation must be given 24 hours before the session is due, otherwise the full price of the session must be paid. Failure to show for a booked appointment will also be charged at the full hourly rate.

Group Personal Training

Group Personal Training has been added to our list of services offered within The Academy Health and Fitness Department. This provides the opportunity for you and your friends to benefit from Personal Training in a small group of up to 4 people. Not only does it provide added motivation to train with friends and colleagues, but also saves on the individual cost per person on the price of buying one-to-one Personal Training sessions.

The group session can be done either in the Gym, Studio or Gallery Room, depending on availability and can range from small classes, for example Kettlebells or Boxercise to more traditional gym training programmes.

Boot Camps

At The Academy we have recently introduced our new 6-week small group exercise courses utilising the latest equipment to hit the fitness scene over the past 12 months. These include the new TRX suspension training unit, the new ViPRs and Kettlercise. By training within a small group of no more that 8 people, we enable you, the participant, to benefit in a similar way to a one-to-one Personal Training session in regards to monitoring and correction of exercise technique with our fully qualified and enthusiastic instructors. Not only do you get the fitness benefits, but you develop first hand knowledge on how to get the most out of your training utilising these new exercise tools and training methods.
