Q: Do I have to check in and out before and after each session?
A: Yes, this is vital to ensure the system works efficiently for you. In order to add stat information onto your key you must check in, if there is no data on the key the machines will not work. When checking out, data will be removed from the key. This will provide feedback about your training sessions and then allow for the data to be added onto your key ready for the next session.
Q: Can I modify my workout whilst training?
A: Yes, you can adjust the times and levels on the cardio machines as well as doing more repetitions, sets and weights on the resistance machines. The system will record any changes you make.
Q: The machines tell me “Equipment not included in workout”
A: This does not mean you cannot do the exercise. Continue to let the machine read your key, it will then ask you to choose a function. Select your option of time, distance or profile and follow the instructions on the screen.
Q: Can I go back to the same machine again?
A: Yes, if the equipment is only on your programme once, it will inform you that the equipment is not included on your workout; follow the instructions above.
Q: What if I have more than one workout?
A: We can put numerous workouts onto the system. When you check in you can choose which workout you want to do for that day.
Q: How do I tell the system that I have done exercises that do not use the key (e.g. dumbbells)?
A: Click on the “Modify TGS exercises” icon before you check out. If an exercise is included within your workout, scroll down to that exercise and use the tick icon to tell the system you have performed the exercise, you then have the option to change this if necessary. If the exercise is not included in your workout, click on the add exercise icon, choose the category of exercise and add in the time, distance, sets, reps etc. This will then add the exercise into your workout data.
